Ordering of single calendar events in Multi date calendar event asset

Not sure if this is a Squiz Matrix limitation (in our current version) or not but I cannot seem to order the display of the single calendar events nested within a multi date calendar event asset.

They are all in the right order in the backend but on the page they display in a seemingly random order and are not ordered chronologically. I can't see any rules in the backend for why this is taking place.

 

Also it doesn't seem to be happening in other instances of this particular setup. The issue may be in that all the single calendar events happen on the same day - but at different times during the day. Perhaps Squiz Matrix can order these single events properly if they fell on different days but can't seem to do it if they are on the same day, just hours apart.

 

Would this be the case?

Are you using a Calendar listing to show the events?

We did fix some ordering bugs in the calendar asset not long ago, but that was more for recurring events. I would maybe also try using the Calendar Events Search Page to list your events if they don't have to be listed in a calendar like display format.
