Paint layouts

I've created a paint layout as follows:


Details > Custom Layout Settings: Standard page



Page contents: %paint_layout%



Type Formats > Default Format: %asset_name% %asset_assetid%

Type Formats > Standard Page Format: %asset_name%





I can't get this layout to apply/appear on a standard page.



Have I missed a steup step here?

Can paint layout be applied on a per site or per asset basis?

You have to apply the Paint Layouts to the assets themselves, on the asset's "Lookup Settings" screen.

Will Paint Layouts be documented soon? I can’t seem to find any refrence to them in the

manuals.

See User Manual Volume 2 (3.6 Manuals), Chapter 7.


Also as Avi suggested you need to apply the paint layouts to assets using the "Lookup Settings" screen. This info is hidden in User Manual Volume 1, p 51.
