Problems with search pages

Matrix Version: 5.3.3.0

We have created a search page to pull out results based on 2 metadata fields, and in addition to print content from another field that is not used in the search.

All seemed to be working fine, until I went in and changed some information in the metadata field that is not included in the search form. That particular asset no longer showed in the results.

We tested by removing a full stop from another text metadata field and again, that particular asset disappeared from the list.

Does any know why changing details within the asset would exclude it from the search and how we can get round this please?

Sounds like the metadata on the assets are getting regnerated and therefore updated and not listed anymore in the search page as a result. This might be due to the settings on the search page recently changing to change the way it includes results in the list?

Can you try removing the exclude fields to see if it starts listing items then? Also, what does the metadata look like on hte assets that are not showing up anymore?
