Proxy configuration seems to be ignoring username and password

Hi,

 

We're using a Squiz Matrix on our internal network for our intranet and we wanted to pull in an external RSS feed using an RSS Data Source asset.

 

We've encountered a problem with the configuration of the proxy server (Microsoft ISA) in Matrix.  It appears to be ignoring the username and password fields (not passing to the proxy server).  The proxy server logs show the connections as anonymous.

 

We can connect without a username and password if we allow all traffic through the proxy.

 

Has anyone encountered this problem before? Any thoughts?

Does your ISA Server require NTLM authentication? The last time I checked (admittedly a while ago), Matrix didn't support NTLM for proxy authentication.
