Recurrent Event Showing on Wrong Day and not on First of Month

(Nic Hubbard) #1

We just stumbled onto a really strange issue that had not yet arisen because it seems it is only happening on newly created Recurrent Event assets, not old ones which we have been using for some time now.

When creating a new Recurrent Event asset and listing it with a Calendar Page or Rolling Calendar Page, the even gets shown on the previous day. So if the Recurring Event is for a Tuesday, it shows up on Mondays when viewing the Calendar Page assets.

Also, if the Recurrent Event falls on the first day of the week, it is not listed at all.

Very strange issue that isn't a nice one to have. We are running 4.14.2.

Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it?

Weird, never seen this happening before. What's the First Day in Week of your calendar page set to?

Does it happen if you create a brand new calendar page asset and try it there?

First day of the week is set to Sunday.

Yes, happens to a new calendar page asset. Tested this quite extensively today by creating all new assets and still are having the issue.

Have you tested setting the first day of the week to Monday to see if that makes a difference? Maybe there is a bug there...

Didn't fix anything.

It is happening on the Rolling Calendar Page too, which obviously doesn't have that setting.

Sounds very strange, maybe have a browse through the matrix bugs to see if it has been reported, or see if you can replicate it on a later version if you have one available to you.

Yep. Just tested it on a 4.14.1 install that I have and the same issue is there.
