Restore default type format

Before I fully understood Matrix, I deleted the default type format from some paint layouts. Is there a way to restore it, or do I have to create a new paint layout from scratch?

Try cloning the Default Format 'paint layout bodycopy' from another paint layout.

Yeh, it's all just 'assets' in the end.

I know - but I've come across instances where this does not work, not that I can remember the specifics. There are some dependant assets which cannot be cloned to a different parent, I'm sure.

Yeah, that's correct. But, in most instances you can clone bodycopy divs etc
