Root user - what status, who can alter status

Hi Everyone,

 

We understand that if a users credentials are entered wrong 3 times then the user asset gets placed into Under Construction status, to be corrected to Live by an Admin.

 

But what happens in the case of the Root User being placed in Under construction?

Can it function in UC or does it need to be live?

If so, is that possible to be altered in the Admin?

Or a Squiz ticket?

Root user is always set as UC by default and functions when set to that status, it can however get locked out if you fail to login after a number of tries.

 

You can disable root login user completely by changing a variable in the main.inc config https://manuals.matrix.squizsuite.net/server-administrator/chapters/annotated-main#user-settings
