**Matrix Version: 4.16.1 **

Hi,

We have old version of matrix built by java. These days, left menu in admin page shows “Error: Click for details”.
If i Click detail, pop up message appears

SecurtyException
attempted to open sandboxed jar http://domain/__lib/asset_map/java/complexassetmap.jar?t=1494998181 as a Trusted-Library.

Could you help me out this is working?

I am using java jre 1.8.0_131.

4.16.1 is deprecated and no longer supported. Your best option is to upgrade.

Can we retrieve the menu to use the system?

If we cannot use the system, there is no way to use the matrix

I think you are best to contact your Account Manager to organise an upgrade asap, because you are on an old version of Matrix it also means you might be open to security exploits that we don’t patch back to that version. I’m not sure that modern browsers will even let you use the Java asset map any more by default. You only have to upgrade to the latest 4.18 version to get the JavaScript asset map.
