Should Edit+ show me file asset properties to edit?

Hi everyone,

 

Quick Q before I burn up some more support hours: in Edit+ if I go to a file asset (a Word doc in this case), either by selecting it from the asset finder or from searching it using its asset ID, when I select it I just get a totally blank white screen. I was expecting to get that asset's details screen to allow me to change its status and upload a new file, see its metadata tab etc.

I'm sure I used to be able to do this is Edit+ Now on Matrix v5.3.4.0 and Edit+ v5.3.4.0

Maybe try setting the root node of the edit+ JS API to the matrix instance root asset (eg asset 1) and see if it makes any difference.

Hi Peter,

 

Just checked the root nodes, and this site is in there along with a load of others - just checked one those others and that does allow me to edit the document details, so clearly is something affecting just this site. Will send into support as looks like something from the last upgrade maybe.
