Site Assets within Site Assets - good idea / bad idea / not possible?
Interested in people’s perspectives on when creating a ‘subsite’ of a ‘site’ warrants a site asset under an existing site asset, as opposed to a standard page or similar with variant design / permissions etc.
Bad idea. URL/web paths from the parent Site asset wouldn’t be cascaded down to the child Site asset itself anyway. I think it might actually cause other issues as well.
I’d use a Standard page with a different design applied. Or alternatively, a different Site asset still but sitting separate to the main site, so that you can have more separate control over things like permissions, metadata schemas, page not found pages etc. But all depends on the greater requirements I guess.
