SugarCRM Token asset

Has anyone used the sugarcrm token asset? I tried to create a SugarCRM token to perform authenticated requests to sugarCRM following the manual https://matrix-manuals.squiz.net/sugarcrm/chapters/sugarcrm-token. However, when creating the SugarCRM token following the manual, I could not find the "Authentication Settings" section to add the username and password details. Ive attached a screenshot of the details screen of the sugarcrm token asset.
 
when I create the asset filling in the details, matrix shows the notice saying I must specify username, platform, and sugarcrm host url although those fields arent in the details screen. 
 
My matrix version is: 5.3.2.1

The screenshot you have attached there belongs to Oauth Token asset. Can you please double check you are using SugarCRM Token asset (Sugar -> Sugar CRM Token in asset map)?

The sugarcrm token asset seems to have the exact same details screen as an oauth token asset. Please refer to attachment

Thats not what I have at all in my local 5.3.2.1 system.

 

Was your system upgraded recently from <5.2? Your system might have missed one of the upgrade steps regarding clearing the old complied asset edit screen xml files.

 

Can you please check this directory data/private/asset_types/ is your system? This is supposed to empty in >=5.2 systems.

It indeed was upgraded recently. Unfortunately I dont have access to that directory; I only have access to the Administration interface. Can you upload a screenshot of what the details screen should look like?
