Hi All,
I've installed mysource matrix on RHEL5 and can access the _admin site without any problems, e.g. http://matrix.local.com/_admin.
When I try to access the root URL, e.g. http://matrix.local.com I receive this error: URL "http://matrix.local.com" not found [SYS0218]
I've set up my http.conf virtualhost as per the instructions and everything seems to be working ok.
I've been Googling and searching through this forum but haven't had any luck.
Any ideas?

Have you created a site and applied the URL to it yet? If not, Matrix is probably getting loaded up but can't find a page to print.

I'm also having problems with the Asset Map in that the left frame where Asset Map and My Space tabs appear is blank. The only items displayed are the Asset Map and My Space tabs (i.e. no listings beneath the tabs).

That frame is a Java applet. Make sure you are not getting any Java errors and that you have to correct version of the JVM installed (1.6 I think is about the right version). You could always try refreshing the frame too, just to see if it didn't load the first time for some reason.

Brilliant work Greg, that did the job.
I hadn't installed the latest Java update on my Mac.
After installing it the Applet loaded and everything now works as it should.
