Updating div content type settings in bulk

(Douglas (@finnatic at @waikato)) #1

We have a section of our site previously maintained by staff who had the Default Content Type preference set to raw html, but that will soon be looked after by users editing via Edit+ WYSIWYG.

As a result of the previous setup all of the div content type settings are for raw html.

Rather than clicking through every page and division adjusting the content type, is there a way to update the content type settings for those pages and divs in bulk?

You can do it via a custom script, there isn't one available, but if you contact your Squiz support they could help you further with doing that. It would essentially be a case of altering the attributes for those containers in the DB.

I've added a squizmap idea to be able to set attributes on containers via a trigger action as well as this keeps coming up as a requirement for various attributes on this asset. https://squizmap.squiz.net/matrix/8415

Thanks Bart.  The trigger idea (+1 vote) would certainly suit this situation, and would also work well for situations where users have a preference set that's not ideal.
