Is there any possible way to achieve this? The only reason I want to do so is because I think pasting from Word is handled much better in TinyMCE than the WYSIWYG editor built into Squiz, it's much more intuitive and I've had plenty of problems with Squiz not cleaning everything up. If this wasn't possible, is there any way to incorporate the way TinyMCE handles it into the Squiz system?

I have integrated a new content type CKEditor into Matrix before, as well as used TinyMCE on metadata and News Item fields. It is actually pretty easy IF you are using it in Simple Edit interfaces. NOT so easy for _admin stuff.

You might also consider looking at the Edit+ interface for Squiz Matrix which has a Squiz developed wysiwyg editor. This editor (Viper) handles pasting from MS Word very well and in my opinion (although probably a little biased) is much better than tinyMCE. http://vimeopro.com/squizaustralia/easy-edit-suite/ (Video on it here)
