Viewing the Thank You page of a Custom Form

(Robin Bilney) #1

Hey

Is there a way to view the Thank You page of a custom form without having to fill out the form itself?

Thanks,
Robin.

I haven’t seen any way. I just tried in edit+ but alas no :frowning:

It would be good if we could add a get parameter to the URL - e.g. something like ?SQ_XXXXX=thank-you

This would be useful if there isn’t a trick that can be done to see it - ditto for asset builders as well.

Not currently no, but it would be a good idea I guess if you are looking to just preview what the Thank You page looks like when developing the form.

I guess the tricky bit is to figure out what to populate the %response_X% values with if there is no submission data to preview? Otherwise you’d just see the hardcoded copy and not the dynamic values that get generated from the form submission?

Unless we do something like ?SQ_VIEW_THANK_YOU&FORM_SUBMISSION=1234

You can actually already do this with form sections if you are using a multi step form.
