Viper bug - unordered lists

Hi

 

We are experiencing issues when using unordered/bulleted lists in WYSISYG feilds of the Easy Edit suite (viper editor).

 

These include:

  • browser becoming unresponsive and needs to be closed
  • paragraphs of content are being deleted on single backspace
  • content jumping outside the WYSISYG container (or butts up against the edge with no padding)

It seems to happen when new <il> are added, then deleted over a number of times.

Content is being added as clean HTML (<p> tags only) and we are using Chrome.

 

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hey James

 

What version of Matrix and Edit+ do you have? Matrix version can be seen when you log into /_admin mode, with the latest Matrix 5 version you should see it bottom left (small grey text) and also in the title of the page, which will appear in the tab for the web browser. Edit+ version can be seen when you log into /_edit mode, bottom left of any of the editing screens.

Sorry for the late reply, I didn't think anyone had responded as there wasn't a notification email.

We are running Matrix v5.0.2.0 and Edit+ v5.0.2, which I guess are in sync.

Hi James, these bugs might be hard to replicate without exact steps. Seeing as 5.0.2 is quite old now and several improvements have gone in since then, this might already have been fixed.

 

If these issues are causing big issues, I suggest you send in a support ticket into Squiz so that it can be looked at more properly and resolved for you guys.
