Virus Checker on Uploaded Files

Matrix Version 5.3.0.0

Hi - we’re using a file upload on a form and have the Virus Checker enabled. The virus checker is set up in external tools configuration as Clam Antivirus and there’s no error message to say the path is invalid.

When we upload a file using a form, we see the progress message saying ‘Virus scanning is underway’ but the final page of the form gives the message:

Uploaded documents: Test.pdf, type application/pdf, 43.4 KB | No file uploaded | No file uploaded

However, the file is being created in our asset tree, so there’s something going on here - the form is not receiving the right response. Any ideas?

That’s strange, never seen that before. Either a problem with the virus scanner or something else.

Does the file upload ok if you turn off virus scanning?

Sorry, this is our error. The ‘No File Uploaded’ messages refer to two more file upload fields further down the form which weren’t used. I need to make the confirmation screen clearer for the end user! Thanks for looking at this for us.
