Hello there, with a Workflow process, I've added a Condition [eg User Joe Bloggs #6332] but with the option to tick "Notify me when Live" I'd rather have an option of "Notify me when Up for Review", can you please confirm if the Condition options can be modified/added to?

Hi,
The user in the workflow step will be notified about the workflow being initiated irrespective of the checkbox “Notify me when Live” ticked or not. This is default working of the workflow asset. If the asset is changed from Under Construction => Apply for Approval or from Live => Up for Review it means the same, the workflow process is started and the user should get an email if he is in the step that has to approve the changes to the asset.

Heya Ash, thanks plenty for the above prompt reply. So what I’ve done is, made a page Live, added to it a Workflow Schema with Condition of user Joe Bloggs. On the asset, as its already Live, I’ve set a Future Status of the asset to “Up for Review” with date and time today 15 minutes from now, so what I would expect, is in 15 mins time, the asset status would change to “Up for Review” and an email notification sent to Joe advising of page/asset up for review and to check the page. But I’ve now checked the page, its changed its status to “Up for Review” but no email was sent, is there something that I’m missing?

May be the email type isn't configured in the Messaging Services for Matrix. This needs to be under White List. Nothing else I can think of Frankly speaking. Can you check under "Log To Email White List" field for section/Screen "Messaging Service Configuration" . There should be something like "asset.workflow.review.*" in the white list. If not adding this and trying again should fix the issue.

There is search box on top frame on the backend. The first little icon to the right of the box is System Configuration. Once there there is a Select drop down box where u can find Messaging Service Settings.

Yay thanks Ash, I added the asset.workflow.review.*, will see how it goes… I tried it once, and am still waiting on an email notification, I have myself as the Condition, so I should receive the email advising of the status change of review. At the moment, the status has changed, but still no email received, and its got two Future Status’ added, both of them set to Up for review, at the same time it was initiated the first time? Strange, so will try again and see how I go, thanks plenty in advance
