Remote content URLs

(Sarah Delfante) #1

We’re pulling an existing image gallery into one of our Matrix sites via remote content.

The top-level page is fine but the tunnelled sub-pages (when you click through to see a full size image) have long unfriendly URLs e.g.

http://www.xyz.uwa.edu.au/image_gallery?sq_content_src=%2BdXJsPWh0dHAlM0ElMkYlMkZnYWxsZXJpZXMud2Vib2ZmaWNlLnV3YS5lZHUuYXUlMkZnYWxsZXJ5MiUyRnYlMkZBbmltYWxzJTJGYWJzdHVudC5qcGcuaHRtbCZhbGw9MQ%3D%3D

The URL of the page that is being tunnelled is short and easily readable.

Any way around this that anyone know of?

Thanks,

Sarah

Remote Content and external pdf files

Remote Content needs to know what URL is being tunneled, so it has to add it as a query string (it is encoded). This is a critical part of the way Remote Content works and can not be turned off.
