Showing image caption for image inserted in the content

Matrix Version:5.3.4

When working in Edit+, do we have an option to display image caption that is stored when uploading the image? This has been asked here, but that was 11 years ago. Who knows it is now possible

Thanks.

You can by using the %globals_asset_attribute_caption:1234% where 1234 is the asset ID of the image asset.

Itโ€™s a bit of a manual process at the moment, but we are working on making it more embedded into the Viper WYSIWYG Insert Image Plugin.

Thanks @Bart. Is there anyway to implement something so that users donโ€™t need to enter that keyword replacement code manually? Something like Edit+ plugin maybe?

Yea that would probably be the way. Either hijack the insert image click button on the Viper tool, or do something on Save perhaps where you look at all the images in the content and automatically add that keyword in? Could be done in a couple of ways using an Edit+ plugin.

Thanks Bart. I will look into it.
